Thomas' Childhood

The Guardian's family was quite large - they were five - mother, father and three kids. One of them was Thomas. He was a lovely child and all friends and relatives love him - it was a real pleasure to talk, play or just spend time to him. However, something unusual was in this boy - perhaps, his smile or voice - it was hard to determine what it was. Actually he had his private life - he even had a pigeon-house where some doves were living and Thomas took care of them. He was never noticed to offend anybody or do any other bad things. That is why he was nicknamed 'saint' and since that time the name stuck to him and people called him Saint Thomas because he did only good things. Thomas even dreamt to save the earth - he asked his friend not to throw bottles, plastic food containers, toys wherever they want to, in the wrong places. Thomas wondered why people threw things away not thinking about the environment. Teachers were happy to have such a student in their class due to his being helpful, thoughtful and careful. The problem of ecology was always important in the world and there are many organizations that organize activities to solve environmental problems. But the problem still exists. Saint Thomas was a kid who gathered his class together to collect old cans and bottles around the neighborhood. He didn't expect any prizes, trophies or other rewards - he just tried to save our planet. Generally, that was his private life and he never gave in. He was not upset for being called 'Saint' - he even tried to prove his nickname by doing something really good.
